Brian Spears, from Illinois, spent Thanksgiving week on Grand and is really looking forward to his next trip back says "Catfish Lady" Dayna. 12/06/11

Kevin Thomas, 8, of Foyil, with his 5.5 lb. Blue Catfish. He was using frozen whole shad and hooked and landed this nice cat without assistance drifting near Old Bernice Oct. 29 with GFR's Catfish Lady (Dayna Hohmann).

Larry, a loyal GFR reader from Colorado, and fan of "The Catfish Lady" (GFR's Dayna Hohmann) caught this 9 pounder during the weekend of October 22 near Blue Bluff.

Sam Oce's nice 3 lb bass caught near drowning creek. He said he could not keep them off the whacky worm. (09/27/11)

 

 

 

Marty Hohmann with his 5.5 pound blue caught near Cleora using shadcicles and his CatClaw by EagleClaw from Grand Lake Sports Center.

Dayna Hohmann, managed to hook two small blues at the same time. Near Blackberry Island using shadcicles and an old Zebco 888.

Jamie Reyes, Parsons KS, with a nice 9 pound blue caught with jugline and secret bait! "somewhere near Horse Creek" on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.

J. J. White caught this 6 lb., 8 oz. sucker fish using Bobby Garland bait "Salt and Pepper" at Courthouse Hollow using 4 lb. test line 07/18/11. It was his first fish. From Patti Williams, Grand Lake Sports Center, Grove.

Kevin Thomas, 7, of Foyil, caught his first catfish on a fishing trip with GFR's newest Catfishing Reporter Dayna Hohmann recently.

Kymi Hohmann, 22, White Oak-5 lb. Blue Cat landed near the Unfinished Bridge on 8/14/11, using whole baby shad on a Zebco Heavy Duty Hawg Seeker.

Melissa and Jonathan Saylor, Grove, with her 8 lb. and his 8 and 6 lb. catfish caught off the bank NE of Sailboat Bridge, using shad. Melissa also reports they've had great luck with crappie in their cove, especially with the black and chartreuse jigs. Says she loves our reports. 04/25/11

Randy Wade, Kansas, caught this 54 lb. spoonbill on a 03/14/11guide trip with GFR's Mark Bolte.

Tina Werline, Fairland, sends us her 54.5 lb., 49" long spoonbill she caught 03/13/11 near Osage Hollow Camp Grand. It is #9 on the board at Twin Bridges.

One of the big fish of the trip,  Mike Shoemaker's (Pittsburg, KS) 52 pounder. Caught on a 02/27/11 trip with GFR's Mark Bolte.
