GRDA Sponsors 2011 Hook N Cookoff

GRDA has become a major sponsor for the Grand Lake Area Chamber’s 2011 Hook N Cookoff by donating $1000 towards the event.

This is the 18^th Annual Hook N Cookoff and the event will be held on September 24^th, from 9:30 am -3:30pm at the Pelican Landing Resort just East of Ketchum.

“We greatly appreciate GRDA’s support for this event,” said Tad Jones with the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.  “This is a great event for the area and we are thankful to have a partner in GRDA to help sponsor the Hook N Cookoff.”

This year’s event will have live Entertainment with Phil Bethel at the Integris Grove entertainment zone, an Arts and Crafts Zone, a Car Show, a Kids Zone complete with train and pony rides and a bouncy house, and an Art Contest for students in K-12^th grade.

There will be a number of teams competing in the Catfish Cooking competition and the Hushpuppy and Cole Slaw Competitions.

Tasting kits can be purchased in advance for $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids. Children under 6 get in Free.  Tickets at the gate are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids.
