ODEQ and GRDA press briefing cancelled …
GRDA Board of Directors to hold

special meeting on Friday, July 1 in Tulsa

Vinita -- A Friday morning (July 1)  joint press briefing, called by the Grand River Dam Authority and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to discuss the confirmation of blue green algae in Grand Lake has been cancelled.

Instead, an emergency meeting of the GRDA Board of Directors has been called and is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2011, to begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Offices of New Dominion, LLC located at 1307 S. Boulder Ave. Ste 400, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74119.  The Board will discuss and possibly take action concerning the blue green algae presence at Grand Lake.  

Representatives from DEQ and GRDA will be available to the press following this meeting.
