Due to inclement weather…
Grand Lake Shoreline Cleanup Rescheduled
Vinita – The Grand Lake Sail and Power Squadron
and the Grand River Dam Authority are announcing that the Grand Lake
Shoreline Cleanup, originally scheduled for tomorrow (May 2) has been
rescheduled to Saturday, May 30. The date change is occurring due to
Friday’s heavy rains and the threat of inclement weather through the weekend.
All dumpster locations and cleanup times, which
were scheduled for tomorrow, will still be in place on May 30.
The event, which is made possible by a
partnership between the Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron (GLSPS), the
Monkey Island Association and the Grand River Dam Authority, is an opportunity
for lake residents to unite their efforts to keep Grand Lake’s scenic shoreline
beautiful and free of trash and debris.
