GRDA Floodwater Release
Bulletin – July 11 – 1:00 p.m.
At 1:00 PM on
Friday, July 11:
- Grand Lake elevation was
747.78 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at
24.91 percent capacity.
- Six (6) units were online at
the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,336 cfs of water through
generation.
- No floodgates were open at
Pensacola Dam.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 13,336 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake
totaled 10,399 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was
624.27 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at
25.97 percent capacity.
- Three (3) units were online
at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 21,600 cfs of water through
generation.
- No floodgates were open at
Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 21,600 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson
totaled 15,493 cfs.
In the event of flooding
conditions, the United States Army Corps of Engineers often issues crest
predictions for GRDA's Grand Lake and Lake Hudson. When those are issued, they
will be included in this bulletin. Currently, the Corps has no future crest
predictions issued.
