GRDA Floodwater Release

At 12:00 PM on Thursday, July
3:
- Grand Lake elevation was
749.05 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at
37.44 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the
United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at
Pensacola Dam, discharging 471 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at
the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,856 cfs of water through
generation.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 14,327 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake
totaled 8,101 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was
627.52 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at
43.37 percent capacity.
- Three (3) units were online
at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 21,870 cfs of water through
generation.
- No floodgates were open at
Robert S. Kerr Dam
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 21,870 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson
totaled 14,959 cfs.
The last crest predictions from the
United States Army Corps of Engineers were for a Grand Lake crest of 752.10 on
Wednesday, June 25 and a Lake Hudson crest of 632, occurring on Tuesday, June
24.
