GRDA Floodwater Release

At 11 AM on
Monday, June 30:
- Grand Lake elevation was
750.33 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at
50.10 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the
United States Army Corps of Engineers, four (4) floodgates were open at
Pensacola Dam, discharging 17,240 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at
the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,708 cfs of water through
generation.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 30,948 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake
totaled 30,533 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was
629.14 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at
53.27 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the
United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at
Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 9,634 cubic feet per second (cfs) of
water.
- Three (3) units were online
at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 21,330 cfs of water through
generation.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 30,964 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson
totaled 31,952 cfs.
No further gate operations are
planned for today.
The last crest predictions from the United States
Army Corps of Engineers were for a Grand Lake crest of 752.10 on Wednesday,
June 25 and a Lake Hudson crest of 632, occurring on Tuesday, June 24.
