GRDA Floodwater
release bulletin 06/27/08 3:00 p.m.
At 3 PM on Friday, June 27:
- Grand Lake elevation was
750.83 feet.
- Grand Lake flood pool was at
54.94 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the
United States Army Corps of Engineers, two (2) floodgates were open at
Pensacola Dam, discharging 9,362 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water.
- Six (6) units were online at
the Pensacola Dam powerhouse, releasing 13,653 cfs of water through
generation.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 23,015 cfs.
- Inflows into Grand Lake
totaled 9,651 cfs.
- Lake Hudson elevation was
629.44 feet.
- Lake Hudson flood pool was at
54.37 percent capacity.
- At the direction of the
United States Army Corps of Engineers, one (1) floodgate was open at
Robert S. Kerr Dam, discharging 3,688 cubic feet per second (cfs) of
water.
- Three (3) units were online
at Robert S. Kerr Dam powerhouse releasing 23,220 cfs of water through
generation.
- Releases through floodgates
and generation totaled 26,908 cfs.
- Inflows into Lake Hudson
totaled 24,043 cfs.
The United States Army Corps of
Engineers has indicated that weekend gate operations would be contingent upon
additional rainfall.
The last crest predictions from
the United States Army Corps of Engineers were for a Grand Lake crest of 752.10
on Wednesday, June 25 and a Lake Hudson crest of 632, occurring on Tuesday,
June 24.
